Embroidered on 100% wool felt then stitched and sculpted into a free standing Blackburnian Warbler. Wrapped wire feet are posable for proper perching. Measuring 4 1/2" from beak to tip of tail and 3" tall, this sweet warbler makes a great gift for a bird watcher.

Always a fan favorite; known for its flame-orange throat that seems to glow even through fog and rain. Triangular black cheek patch and oddly shaped white wing patch are also distinctive.

A fiery gem of the treetops. In the northern forest in summer, the male Blackburnian Warbler may perch on the topmost twig of a spruce, showing off the flaming orange of his throat as he sings his thin, wiry song. The female also stays high in the conifers, and the nest is usually built far above the ground.
