Did you know the Cardinal is said to be the most popular bird in the eastern United States! You may say if you have seen one you have seen them all. But if you are a bird nerd like me, then you hear about rare sightings. Have you heard about The Yellow Cardinal name Mr. Yellow? He was first seen in January 2018 in Alabaster, Alabama by Charlie Stephenson and then later photographed by Jeremy Black. He has a rare genetic mutation that makes his typical bright red plumage a brilliant yellow. You can even follow him on Facebook (he is a celebrity).
Mr. Yellow stands 5 1/2 inches tall and measures 7 inches from crown to tip of tail.Hand made using 100% wool felt with hand and machine embroidery. Wrapped wire feet can be positioned for optimal perching on a shelf or branch.
