Embroidered Barred Owl
A large owl with mottled brown and white bars. It has a rounded head and lacks ear tufts. This well known owl with a recognizable, "Who cooks for you? Who cooks for you all" call favors large mature forests with deciduous and coniferous trees. They hunt small animals and are more active during the day than other owls.
