Embroidered Snowshoe Hare patch.
“Snowshoe hare use very dense coniferous (including hemlock) under stories in winter that are often found in regenerating patches in mixed wood and coniferous stands. Significant snowshoe hare predators include fisher, bobcat, and northern goshawk. Snowshoe hares live in the coniferous and boreal forests of the Whites. Snowshoe hares can be seen foraging among the brush. They eat mostly plants, enjoying grasses, flowers, and new growth from trees."
This patch is machine embroidered on white vintage wool blanket. It measures 3 3/4” x 2 1/2” and is intended to be sewn on. Great to be added your favorite jacket or jeans. Patches are also wonderful for mending to help cover holes. Slide one into a note and send it along with a handwritten message to a friend; a kind gesture during these uncertain times.
